Maungdaw, Arakan State:  A Rakhine woman was killed on November 23, at about midnight, while she was guarding saplings at the Maungdaw 3-mile gate, owned by Burma's border security force (Nasaka), according to official source.

Maungdaw, Burma: A CARE delegate led by Mr. Himber arrived at Maung Nama and Pawet Chaung village Tracts of Maungdaw Township on November 28, to survey its projects' development which was provided two years ago, sources said close to CARE.

Maungdaw, Burma: The Township Peace and Development Council (TPDC) Chairman along with U Hla Tun Pru, the land-survey officer of Maungdaw Township went to Aley Than Kyaw village tract on November 15 and seized arable land from villagers for Hloon Tin police, said a schoolteacher on condition of anonymity.
