Bandarban, Bangladesh: Two intruders from Burma were arrested after an hour-long gunfight between the Bangladesh Security forces, the Bangladesh Rifles on the Bangladesh-India-Burma border in Ruma upazila of the district on January 30, according to our correspondent.

Devotees are coming to join at congregation ground of Ijtema
Dhaka, Bangladesh: The annual three-day Bishwa Ijtema, the second largest Muslim congregation after Hajj, starts today at Tongi, 20 kilometers from the capital Dhaka. Participants are coming from about 152 countries, said our source in Dhaka.
