This General Information was distributed to the participants to arrange their trip to the Consultation programme before three weeks.

General information
August 2 - 3, 2006

 

1. ACCOMODATION & VENUE:

First Hotel, Petchburi Road, Ratchathewi, Bangkok, Thailand 10400.

2. ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE:

Participants are expected to arrive in Bangkok 31 July, 2006. The program will begin on 1 August and end on 2 August 2006. Accommodation will be provided until 2 August 2006.

3. TRAVEL ARRANGEMENT:

Participants are expected to make their own travel arrangements to and from Bangkok, Thailand. Kindly be suggested that you arrive to the hotel on your own. After collecting your luggage and passing through customs at Dom Muang International Airport you can take a taxi to the First Hotel.

Please send us your flight information, if it is necessary for us to meet you at the airport.

4. VISA:

Please let us know immediately if you are required a visa and you need a letter of invitation for visa application giving your passport details.

5. BOARDING & LODGING:

The organizer will take care of your full board and lodging from 31 September 2006 (check-in)  to 2 August 2006 (check-out).  If you have any concern about accommodation please contact us.

6. FOOD & ACCOMODATION

The organizers will provide breakfast, lunch, dinner, and tea breaks during the meeting.

7. AIR TICKET & OTHER REIMBUSEMENTS

The organizers will cover all costs relating to the official programme, namely room rates for three nights (31 July to 2 August) and meals. We will reimburse the following expenses with the original receipt/invoice: economic class air ticket, airport tax, visa fee and airport transfer, and taxi or bus fare to the hotel.

8. PRTESENTATION

We request all to make necessary preparation to make this meeting a success. We welcome if any participant wishes to make his/her presentation at the meeting. You may please send us the outline of your paper immediately while the copy of your complete paper must reach us not later than 20th July 2006. Please note that it should be in line with the purpose of the consultation

9. PUBLICATION:

Please bring along any papers, brochures, or other materials, you would like to share with participants.
